What to Expect

A Holistic Experience,

Intentionally Designed

At The Wellness Loft, every service is thoughtfully designed to promote deep relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Our Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Cupping Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and Stretching sessions are delivered using nurturing, spa-inspired techniques that allow you to fully unwind. Every detail — from touch to pacing — is chosen with care and compassion to create a calming, restorative experience tailored to your needs.

Reflexology

During your reflexology session, you will remain fully clothed. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, preferably loose-fitting materials. If you are coming straight from work or do not have time to change, no worries at all. We will make it work and ensure you are comfortable.

If you have selected a Trio Reflexology session (Head & Ears, Hands, and Feet), you will relax on our reflexology table, covered with a weighted blanket for added comfort. We begin with an exfoliating foot cleanser, followed by focused reflexology points on the head, face, and ears to initiate deep relaxation. We then move to the hands, which often hold more tension than people realize. Finally, we focus on the feet.

We intentionally spend more time working on the feet, as we believe they serve as a gateway to every organ system in the body. As we work through the energy zones of the feet, you may feel sleepy or notice subtle shifts in your energy. This is exactly what we aim for during the session.

Each session concludes with hot towels and gentle stretching to help bring your awareness back to the present moment. Congratulations, you have just completed a reflexology session.

What You May Notice
During or After
Reflexology

Reflexology may help to:

  • Restore balance (homeostasis) throughout the body
  • Improve nerve function and sensitivity
  • Increase circulation
  • Relieve stress, anxiety, and depression
  • Support the body’s natural healing process
  • Assist in toxin elimination
  • Promote deep relaxation
  • Improve sleep quality
  • Relieve PMS symptoms
  • Reduce migraines and headaches

People often report feeling lighter, warmer, or gently energized during a session. As pressure is applied, you may sense energy opening and moving through the body, reaching individual organs and systems. This can create an awareness of the body working as an interconnected whole, supporting relaxation and healing.

Other possible responses during a session may include:

  • Light-headedness
  • Coughing
  • Laughing
  • Deep sighing or a sense of release
  • A strong desire to sleep
  • Reduction or disappearance of pain or discomfort
  • Loose, relaxed muscles
  • Thirst

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmic therapy designed to support the body’s natural detoxification and immune systems. Unlike deep tissue massage, this technique uses light pressure and slow, flowing movements to encourage lymph fluid to move freely throughout the body.

During your session, you may experience a deep sense of relaxation, along with sensations of warmth, lightness, or subtle movement beneath the skin. Many clients find this treatment calming and restorative, often noticing reduced heaviness or puffiness afterward.

It is common to feel very relaxed, sleepy, or thirsty following your session. Increased urination, mild fatigue, or emotional release may also occur as the body processes and releases built-up fluid and toxins. These responses are normal and typically temporary.

For best results, we recommend staying well hydrated and allowing yourself time to rest after your session. Each experience is unique, and your body will respond in its own way as balance is restored.

You’ll love it here.

We offer a unique sanctuary where you can escape the stresses of everyday life and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.
